Deepavali, also known as Diwali, is a festival of lights symbolizing victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.
The festival in New York took place at the South Street Seaport. Dancers took to the stage to celebrate the Hindu festival of lights and show off their dance moves. It’s fun event to see and gives New York a taste of India.
